Why Choose an Entry Sensor?
A security camera can help you see what happened. An entry sensor provides a direct indication that a monitored door or window has been opened.
This makes it an important component of a layered home security system, especially when combined with indoor motion detection and an audible siren.
Installer Recommendation
Digital Doctors Online recommends entry sensors for front doors, back doors, patio doors and accessible ground-floor windows.
We prioritise key entry points before adding additional sensors throughout the property.
During installation, correct alignment between the sensor and magnet is essential for consistent detection.
